Salted pen device Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the deals shortlist
Salted in Bandung: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Salted in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run salted the same way in Bandung: same pen device, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: salted in Bandung works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Bandung
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp1.96 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Bandung.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp1.96 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp1.96 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within Rp1.96 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Indonesia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
