Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
A salted 30 ml shortfill from the pre-order options in Bandung costs about Rp2.2 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp2.2 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bandung
If you are looking at salted in Bandung, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Bandung survives.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
