Vanilla in Bandung: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
Most people searching Jouza Hookah in Bandung are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Vanilla in Bandung reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Bandung
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.15 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp3.15 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for vanilla in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
