Vanilla box mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the online shortlist
Vanilla in Bandung: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
Vanilla box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run vanilla the same way in Bandung: same box mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla box mod really costs in Bandung
If you are looking at vanilla in Bandung, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Bandung survives.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Packaging for vanilla in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does vanilla in a box mod last?
In Bandung we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp2.24 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
