The short version: tobacco in Bandung works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco vape pen really costs in Bandung
Tobacco vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tobacco in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Bandung.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp2.05 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Bandung survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Indonesia |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | Rp42 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | Rp2.05 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Indonesia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp2.05 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
