Spiced pen device Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the flat shortlist
Spiced in Bandung: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
How we tested Spiced pen device here
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp1.7 per 10 ml.
Spiced in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced pen device really costs in Bandung
We run spiced the same way in Bandung: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Packaging for spiced in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does spiced in a pen device last?
In Bandung we measured 4 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within Rp1.7 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
