Spiced box mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the wholesale shortlist
Spiced in Bandung: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Choosing a box mod for spiced
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.14 per 10 ml.
Spiced in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: spiced in Bandung works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced box mod really costs in Bandung
We run spiced the same way in Bandung: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested spiced in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised Rp40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp3.14 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
