Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
If you are looking at sourcherry in Bandung, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.58 per 10 ml.
The short version: sourcherry in Bandung works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry cartomizer really costs in Bandung
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.58 per 10 ml.
How we tested sourcherry in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
