Sourcherry box mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the budget shortlist
Sourcherry in Bandung: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
What sourcherry costs in Bandung
Sourcherry in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp1.62 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry box mod really costs in Bandung
We run sourcherry the same way in Bandung: same box mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sourcherry in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp1.62 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
