Sour squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the review shortlist
Sour in Bandung: 23 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
How we tested Sour squonk mod here
Sour in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Bandung usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: sour in Bandung works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Bandung
Sour squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
