Sour refill pack Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the online shortlist
Sour in Bandung: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
Ordering into Bandung usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp2.59 per 10 ml.
The short version: sour in Bandung works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour refill pack really costs in Bandung
If you are looking at sour in Bandung, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Bandung survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within Rp2.59 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp2.59 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
