Sour in Bandung: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run sour the same way in Bandung: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy Jouza Hookah in Bandung. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour pen device really costs in Bandung
We run sour the same way in Bandung: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Bandung survives.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Indonesia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp2.43 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
