Sour cartomizer Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the price shortlist
Sour in Bandung: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Choosing a cartomizer for sour
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.47 per 10 ml.
We run sour the same way in Bandung: same cartomizer, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Bandung works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour cartomizer really costs in Bandung
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sour in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Bandung.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised Rp59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp3.47 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
