Salted squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the budget shortlist
Salted in Bandung: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
Salted in Bandung reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at salted in Bandung, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted squonk mod really costs in Bandung
We run salted the same way in Bandung: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Treating the advertised Rp28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp2.68 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for salted in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How long does salted in a squonk mod last?
In Bandung we measured 9 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within Rp2.68 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
