Plum vape pen Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the online shortlist
Plum in Bandung: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
Plum in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plum vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plum in Bandung works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Bandung
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Bandung.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Treating the advertised Rp54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp1.63 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Indonesia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp1.63 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
