Plum starter kit Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the price shortlist
Plum in Bandung: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
A plum starter kit from the value options in Bandung costs about Rp3.02 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum starter kit really costs in Bandung
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.02 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Rp33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp3.02 per 10 ml.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
