Plum in Bandung: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Choosing a pen device for plum
Plum in Bandung reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at plum in Bandung, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: plum in Bandung works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum pen device really costs in Bandung
If you are looking at plum in Bandung, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Bandung.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Rp29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp1.64 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plum in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp1.64 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order Jouza Hookah online in Bandung?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 5–10 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
