Plain in Bandung: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on plain: 24 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: plain in Bandung works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bandung
Plain in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp2.91 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Packaging for plain in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
