Pear pod kit Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the order shortlist
Pear in Bandung: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.14 per 10 ml.
A pear pod kit from the pre-order options in Bandung costs about Rp3.14 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Bandung works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pod kit really costs in Bandung
We run pear the same way in Bandung: same pod kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Bandung.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Bandung survives.
