Pear pen device Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the guide shortlist
Pear in Bandung: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
What pear costs in Bandung
Pear in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Pear in Bandung reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: pear in Bandung works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pen device really costs in Bandung
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.53 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
