Pear pen device Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the best shortlist
Pear in Bandung: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
How we tested Pear pen device here
Pear in Bandung reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Most people searching Jouza Hookah in Bandung are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear pen device really costs in Bandung
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp1.95 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
