The short version: pear in Bandung works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear box mod really costs in Bandung
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp2.61 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

In Bandung we measured 3 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

On the last run in Bandung: about Rp2.61 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Indonesia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
