Melon refill pack Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the review shortlist
Melon in Bandung: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Where buyers go wrong with melon in Bandung
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp2.5 per 10 ml.
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon refill pack really costs in Bandung
We run melon the same way in Bandung: same refill pack, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Treating the advertised Rp61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp2.5 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
