Lime box mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the flat shortlist
Lime in Bandung: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
How we tested Lime box mod here
We run lime the same way in Bandung: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching Jouza Hookah in Bandung are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime box mod really costs in Bandung
Lime in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where lime goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How long does lime in a box mod last?
In Bandung we measured 9 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
