Lime box mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the cheap shortlist
Lime in Bandung: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
We run lime the same way in Bandung: same box mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Lime in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime box mod really costs in Bandung
A lime box mod from the cheapest options in Bandung costs about Rp1.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised Rp28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp1.88 per 10 ml.
