Licorice vape pen Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the flat shortlist
Licorice in Bandung: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.43 per 10 ml.
Licorice in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: licorice in Bandung works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice vape pen really costs in Bandung
Licorice vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested licorice in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Bandung survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Indonesia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Is licorice legal to sell in Indonesia?
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
