Licorice pod kit Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the flat shortlist
Licorice in Bandung: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Where buyers go wrong with licorice in Bandung
We run licorice the same way in Bandung: same pod kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Licorice pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice pod kit really costs in Bandung
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp1.8 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Rp55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp1.8 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is licorice legal to sell in Indonesia?
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
How long does licorice in a pod kit last?
In Bandung we measured 5 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Indonesia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
