The short version: licorice in Bandung works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice cartomizer really costs in Bandung
Licorice in Bandung reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Rp45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp2.78 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for licorice in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | Rp45 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | Rp2.78 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
