Licorice box mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the cheap shortlist
Licorice in Bandung: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Choosing a box mod for licorice
We run licorice the same way in Bandung: same box mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on licorice: 15 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: licorice in Bandung works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice box mod really costs in Bandung
A licorice box mod from the cheapest options in Bandung costs about Rp2.4 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Indonesia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Packaging for licorice in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
