Iced squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the review shortlist
Iced in Bandung: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Choosing a squonk mod for iced
A iced squonk mod from the reviewed options in Bandung costs about Rp1.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Iced in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: iced in Bandung works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced squonk mod really costs in Bandung
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp1.73 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Treating the advertised Rp37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp1.73 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
