Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp2.43 per 10 ml.
A herbal box mod from the budget options in Bandung costs about Rp2.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal box mod really costs in Bandung
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested herbal in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp2.43 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in Bandung survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
