Coil life, liquid cost and the graphite habit
Graphite sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on graphite: 8 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a graphite sub-ohm kit really costs in Bandung
A graphite sub-ohm kit from the bulk options in Bandung costs about Rp3.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
