What a frozen starter kit really costs in Bandung
Frozen starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested frozen in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Bandung survives.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bandung stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Indonesia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How long does frozen in a starter kit last?
In Bandung we measured 5 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bandung: about Rp3.08 per 10 ml liquid plus Rp39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
