Frozen pen device Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the flat shortlist
Frozen in Bandung: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Frozen pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A frozen pen device from the flat-rate options in Bandung costs about Rp2.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: frozen in Bandung works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen pen device really costs in Bandung
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested frozen in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Bandung.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Bandung survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for frozen in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
