Coffee in Bandung: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Where buyers go wrong with coffee in Bandung
Coffee in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A coffee pen device from the reviewed options in Bandung costs about Rp3.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested coffee in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Bandung survives.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
