Citrus mesh tank Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the budget shortlist
Citrus in Bandung: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Choosing a mesh tank for citrus
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on citrus: 22 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus mesh tank really costs in Bandung
Citrus in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested citrus in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp3.48 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid.
Retail sales in Indonesia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | Rp68 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | Rp3.48 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
