How we tested blackcurrant in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Bandung, since tanks and pods go first.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp2.13 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within Rp2.13 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
How long does blackcurrant in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Bandung we measured 6 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
