Berry refill pack Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the price shortlist
Berry in Bandung: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
Coil life, liquid cost and the berry habit
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp3.04 per 10 ml.
We run berry the same way in Bandung: same refill pack, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry refill pack really costs in Bandung
Berry in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested berry in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where berry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Rp36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Rp3.04 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
