Berry pen device Jouza Hookah in Bandung: the review shortlist
Berry in Bandung: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bandung.
What the label on Berry is allowed to say
Berry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bandung the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bandung that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Rp2.92 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry pen device really costs in Bandung
Berry in Bandung reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested berry in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Indonesia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into Bandung.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where berry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bandung accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Indonesia restricts vapes and applies local excise rules on liquid. Shipping of nicotine to Bandung runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for berry in Bandung must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
